Interns Pick Up Garbage on Their Lunch Break

Today, interns Laura and Mady picked up garbage items from the Bessie Smith lawn during their lunch break. They were walking around the facility to view the Blue Trees (see Blue Trees blog post) on site when they noticed an area heavily littered. Mady's favorite sustainability quote is from the Lorax, saying, "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better; it's not." With this in mind, the interns decided to take a moment to pick up the garbage and threw it in the garbage can on their way back into City Hall.
