IMAGINE A NEW Miller Park District
Chattanooga's first renaissance occurred on the river, creating a destination for locals and tourists alike. There's no doubt Chattanooga's next renaissance will happen in the middle of our downtown, leveraging existing activity to boost our quality of life. The creation of the Miller Park District is a once in a generation opportunity that will establish Chattanooga's place in the 21st century.
MLK Boulevard Improvements
The City of Chattanooga is making significant improvements in the Miller Park District, which includes the new Miller Park and completely renovating ML King Boulevard between the park and Miller Plaza. We are beginning the phase that includes the renovation of MLK Boulevard, and this phase requires a full closure of the road to complete this portion.

Nov. 13, 2017 - Full closure of MLK Boulevard between Miller Plaza & Miller Park.
Mid-February 2018 - MLK Boulevard reopens (closure expected to last 100 days).
Mid-February to Mid-March 2018 - Full closure of Georgia Avenue between MLK Boulevard & Patten Parkway.
Summer 2018 - New Miller Park Opens
