Event Details

Open Data Day is an annual celebration of open data all over the world. For the tenth time, groups from around the world will create local events on the day where they will use open data in their communities. It is an opportunity to show the benefits of open data and encourage the adoption of open data policies in government, business and civil society.

Knowledge is power and knowing is the first step towards action. Come to learn about the city of Chattanooga’s open data offerings during its open data day celebration. During the event you will be able to learn about the city’s budget, spending, program performance and how to sign up for custom alerts about what crime incidents are occurring near your home. The event is unprogrammed and starts at 9am. You are welcome to drop in anytime during the event.
